"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Dalton asked.
I looked up from the pizza menu in my hands, as we approached our dorm building.
"Yeah. Everyone's gotta eat some time," I replied.
"Victoria, in case you haven't noticed, not all of us in the dorm get along so well."
"I have noticed," I admitted. "But maybe this will break the tension."
"So you're saying, the best way to your roommate's heart is through their stomach?" He raised an eyebrow towards me.
I shrugged. "Like I said, everyone's gotta eat some time."
As we entered the dorm, the atmosphere grew heavy. Katie was on the couch, arms folded tightly. The satyr-like creature (now clothed, I noted) was pacing over and back, anxiously whimpering, asking Katie if she was sure he looked alright. Katie seemed a little too annoyed to answer his questions.
They looked over at Dalton and me as Dalton shut the door, Katie looking rightly ticked off, and the satyr looking pertrified.
I had no idea what to do now.
Thankfully, Dalton spoke up - "Pizza anyone?"
