Ah... Poop

Both Mike and Chris looked happy.

"We've definitely got it right this time." Chris said with a smile.

"I'm so glad the boss gave us something easy to do for a change!"

"I love how he gave us something important as well!"

"Not just food this time either!"

"I'm just a little unsure about that last bit."

The two men were sat in a car.

"Which bit?"

"The car bit."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well have we got the right car?"

"He said black not blue."

"We're in a blue car."

Tony was sat in his boss' office.

"Did they do it?" the boss asked.

"Of course! Those two are pretty stupid! They'd do anything!"

"But the thing that I'm worried about is whether they did it right."

"What do you mean? Those instructions were pretty simplistic."

"But it's them."

"A child of two could have followed those instructions."

"Yes but still. It is those two."

"We need to get them out of the way. Getting them to do it to themselves is the best way. They aren't worth the cost of a professional. Nor the cost of the bullets."

The boss nodded.

"There are too many people who know too much. Like you Tony."

The boss shot Tony.

"Now their turn."

He got up and went to his car.

Mike and Chris were now in the black car.

"Now we're right!"

They saw a man walking past their car and enter the blue car a little bit further down the street. They thought they recognised him but they weren't sure.

"So now we wait for the friend of the boss to turn up yeah?"

"That's the idea Chris"

Mike looked at his watch.

"It's practically 8 o'clock now. I wonder where they are."

"And you've got the package?"

"I thought you did."

"We must have left it in the other car."

The boss got into his blue car and watched the black automotive that was parked down the street. He had passed it earlier and seen the two idiots in there. He laughed to himself as he realised that they had been stupid enough to follow out his instructions. The two men had seen too much. They knew too much.

Part of him questioned why they hadn't thought of the possibility that he'd have sent someone after them to keep them quiet. Then he just laughed to himself as he thought that they hadn't been that smart.

Little did he notice the package resting on the back seat of the car.

"We'll get it in a second. It's time for them to get here now!"

The two men watched their watches as the hour hand hit 8. They could hear bells from some nearby tower or something chiming once.

Three times.

Four times.

Five times.

Six times.

Seven times.

Eight times.

Nine times.

"Did that go off nine times?"

"No!" Mike shouted. "That other car exploded! Thank god we weren't in that one! Just think! If we hadn't realised that we were in the wrong car, we'd be exploded!"

"What about that package?"

"Oh yeah! We'll have to go and tell the boss that it exploded. You can tell him that bit!"

"Ah. Poop."

A second before 8 o'clock, the boss had noticed the package. In that split second, he only had time for one thought.

"Those two can't do anything right can they!"

The End
