Turn and Cough

Recommend

The homo sapian.  What a peculiar species.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I think of them.  Some of them are very intelligent, particularly fascinating, surprisingly creative, and often possess a fair amount of common sense.  An interesting phrase, "common sense," when you take into consideration the fact that a majority of human behavior I've observed has left me with a fairly negative general picture of the species.  Many that I've come across have been mostly miserable, insultingly ignorant, and far too eager to follow what their government or media tells them to do.

Of course, there are good and poor examples of a species in any race, and the poor should be embraced with the good.

However, there is one quality that I occasionally find in both examples that I simply cannot stand: a phenomenon much of the human race calls germaphobia.

g2LaPianistaIrlandesa This has been an idea stirring in the back of my mind for about a week now, inspired by the recent h1n1 epidemic, thinking about how the immune system works, and my utter annoyance with both how much the media's been hyping the epidemic and how ignorant people can be sometimes.

Now, I'm not trying to start a conspiracy (this may be a suspicion later on in this bit, but I thought I'd dispell this early), this is simply the result of mixing around and messing with a few different ideas.
