The plane touched down without a hitch and soon they were departing the private airport in a large, unmarked truck. All the Chairs bundled into the back while Ursula and Gabriella got in the drivers cabin.
They drove in silence, the coming events making them too nervous to speak. Eventually though, Gabriella broke the silence.
"I know you don't want to talk about him, but I'm worried about Michael. He's just disappeared. He must be in trouble, he'd have called us by now otherwise."
Ursula just swallowed and said nothing.
"That message, he said he didn't have much time. Something was wrong, I could feel it. I hope he's okay."
Ursula remained silent and so Gabriella took the hint and dropped the subject. Suddenly, she felt sick. "Ursula, can you pull over, I think I'm going to throw up."
Ursula pulled over and Gabriella lowered her self out of the carriage and stood at the edge of the road, bent over and breathing deeply. The sick feeling began to subside and then suddenly it reared up and she retched, puking into the grass growing along the side of the road. Ursula jumped out after her.
"Hey, what happened? Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Gabriella said, taking a tissue from her bag and wiping her mouth. "Do we have any water?"
Ursula grabbed a bottle of water from the cabin and chucked it to Gabriella who quickly washed her mouth out.
Gabriella nodded. "I don't know what came over me. I guess it's just stress. Worry. There is so much riding on this, on us. We don't even know for sure there will be a bomb at the tower. The whole plan relies on that."
Ursula laid a comforting hand on Gabriella's back. "Look, no more thinking like that. Everything is going to be fine, okay?"
Gabriella smiled weakly and nodded. Ursula smiled and kissed her. As she drew back she looked into Gabriella's eyes.
"Really. We'll get through this, no matter what happens."
They hugged and got back in the truck. After they got moving again Gabriella asked a question.
"So, where exactly are we headed?"
"I found a place near Triad's tower that it wont be too suspicious to park up at. While we can set off the bomb from any distance, you'll need to be closer to find it and the sooner Chair and family can get into the tower and lock it down, the better."
