Amelia's face felt hot as she leant over her book and tried to focus on her studies rather than the male that sat opposite her.
As he fingers turned the page she quickly glanced up to see him with his head buried in his book. Amelia bit her lip and straightened a bit more to get a better look at him.

She now understood what all the fuss was about with him, she dreaded admitting it but he really was quite good looking. She cleanched her hands into fists and sighed.
She didn't want to acknowledge anything when it came to Demetri, mainly because of all the popular girls that are chasing him and begging for his attention. Amelia wanted nothing to do with that crowd, she barely wanted anything to do with Paige but damned if the girl had grown on Amelia.

Amelia cocked her head to the side and looked at the way the lights from the library made his hair look more red in places and a light brown in others.
Suddenly she wished she could see his eyes. Amelia frowned and shook her head to get rid of the thought.

Amelia jumped when the bell for lunch rang. She scrambled to gather all of his books and clenched her teeth together. She was angry at herself because had gotten no studies done at all because of Demetri. She wanted to say that it was his fault, that he sat there on purpose just to make her forget her studies. But she knew it was her own fault for being too damned curious.

She quickly stood up and grabbed her bag and books and went to walk off but Demetri reached out and put a hand on her arm. She shied away from him and looked at him curiously.

"It was nice to meet you too Amelia." He said to her with a small smile and sauntered away. She stared after him with the sound of him speaking her name still reverberating inside of her head.
She was in trouble. She could feel it in the pit of her stomach. With her anger building she strode out of the library to go to lunch.

The End
