Chapter 7-

I wandered away, following her instructions, and soon saw the edge of the forest looming forward. I glanced behind, only once, but was already certain that the woman wasn’t going to be following me.

She hadn’t even told me her name.

Pulling away from the forest in my car, I mused over all that had happened. I hadn’t found any information…but then again, I had… And my main question was ‘why?’

Why didn’t she choose to tell the truth?

Why did she live convinced that it would be better to leave this all well alone?

And who? Who was this mysterious mass murderer?

Who had the right to rid three (or more) people of their lives?

I truly hoped that I was going to find out soon.

The End
