I turned and faced them. They came closer and closer, I was just a little kid, I couldnt fight these guys, could I? In a flash I dashed into the nearest room, which seemed to be a closet/cupboard of somekind. Locking the door frantically, I scrambled for a weapon. They werent taking me back to the academy, not if I could help it!

My hands scrabbled on the shelves behind me until my fingers encounted a cool, cylindrical something. I pulled it in front of me. It was a small tube, with a little light at the end. I pressed the button on it and it buzzed, the lights flickered in response.

A sonic device, perfect!

This is the Doctors first adventure, before he had any companions, before he was even the Doctor.

This adventure takes place just after he looked into the tempered schism and ran away, he is 8 years old.
