I took the stairs two at a time, hoping he would still be there when I reached the flat.

'What's wrong Rai?'  Ebony yelled after me as she followed me up the stairs.

'He wants a way to get to us right?'  I yelled back.  'What better way than by through the people we love.'  I could feel Spark take in a deep breath suddenly realising what danger we'd left Falcon and Ryan in.

The door to the flat was unlocked so the three of us burst in.  We couldn't see or hear anyone.  I ran from room to room screaming Falcon's name but there was no reply.

'He's gone Rai.'  Ebony put her hand on my shoulder as the tears welled up in my eyes.

'No he isn't.'  I said, forcing the tears back.  I would not cry.

'I can't find Ryan either.'  Spark was sounding more concerned as she came into the main living room.  I began pacing up and down the length of the room.

'What can we do?'  At that moment a single sheet of paper dropped from a table as I walked past it.  I bent down to pick it up.  There was one word written on it.

I turned around but Ebony and Spark had vanished.  I looked around frantically to see where they had gone but I was hit on the back of the head and the world descended into darkness.

The End
