How I wish band trips would go >w>
Danna walked cautiously down the lonely hotel hallway towards the elevator. She knew she was supposed to be with at least one other roommate, but she was an insomniac: it was 3 in the morning and she was hungry.
There’s something about being in a different country that is somehow unsettling to me. Especially when I have to deal with that creepy, stalker-like Daniel for a whole week; it’s bad enough that I can’t even have a normal set of roommates that aren’t the same gender as me. All the girls treat me as if I’m some sort of freak, and I don’t even know why! I’m so glad Miss Sheltou understands my problem. If it weren’t for her I probably - -
“Hey, what are you doing here so early in the morning; or late at night, either would have worked. You do know it’s 3 in the morning, right?” Danna knew who it was before she had a glance at his face. Daniel was right beside her, shorts that were barely hanging onto his hips (which were showing a considerable amount of his boxers) and a plain white button-up shirt that he was probably too lazy to do up, especially at this time of night. No matter how much she forced to not study his whole 6”4 well-built body, she did anyways.
“What… What are you doing so early, Daniel? Shouldn’t you be in bed, asleep?” She couldn’t manage to say anything more. As soon as she realized that she was checking him out (unintentionally, of course), she looked away, fearing that he would know that she likes him after all.
“Yes, I was supposed to drop like a stone as soon as we arrived in this half-decent hotel. Or, I was supposed to sneak around the girls’ floor and “pester” them until they either agree to sneak into their room with me or until they tell me to wait in front of their room, and they whisper the fact that I’m a dirty, little prick. But no, I stayed in my room, read a book until supper ate without speaking a word and went back to my room and mindlessly unpacked all of my shit and sat on the bed. It wasn’t until recently that I noticed that we had a missing roommate but we had his suitcase.”
This summary of Daniel’s evening greatly puzzled Danna, because for the past four years that she has known him, he took every single chance he could get his well-sculpted hands on to go after the girls that fell for his intelligence, smashing looks, and wit.
