Patient Interview #1: NihilistMature

July 21, 2013

Patient 5309: Vein Torsing, A.K.A., Nihilist.

Dr. Mireles: "Hello Vein. Please sit down."

(There is some rustling.)

Vein: "LET ME GO, YOU MAGGOTS!"

Dr. Mireles: "Please, calm down, Vein. Calm down and sit. I'm just going to ask you some questions."

(There is some more rustling that eventually stops. We hear a chair being pulled across the floor.)

Vein: (breathing heavily) "Fine . . . I'll sit."

Dr. Mireles: "Good. Now we can get on with the questions." (sounds of paper being leafed through) "It says here in your file that you have an obsession with death and believe that absolutely nothing you do in life matters in the end?"

Vein: "You're damn right. Can I go now?"

Dr. Mireles: "Could you tell me why you think nothing matters?"

Vein: "Because nothing does! You live life slaving away for multi-media pigs and get nothing in return besides money. Then you die and become worm food. Tell me, why live if you're just going to die?"

Dr. Mireles: "There is brightness in life-"

Vein: "There is NOTHING in life. Absolutely NOTHING. You die, and the world keeps on going. We have no effect on the world or on other's lives. We all just DIE, and everyone keeps on going, not a care about your life."

Dr. Mireles: "Well," (pause) " . . . I have nothing further to ask if all your answers are going to be like that. Goodbye, Vein."

End Tape.
