This Is My Story - Miracles

Recommend

Every once in a while, no one wants to go home. They believe it's too hard or something just plain wrong went down. But coming home or even finding a new home is a miracle,a miracle unbeknowst to all its holders. Miracles are supposed to be a once in a lifetime chance yet they happen everyday. Baby's are born, people are kept from dying and love. Miracles are meant to make you happy and hopeful but sometimes there's an off chance, it does more damage than good...

I found my home in the heart of a boy I'd never met, when I finally did meet him all he really wanted was sex, or maybe we both did, and I just didn't want to admit it. I guess deep down I already knew that I loved him. We had talked often enough over the phone but we also had times were we wouldn't speak for months. My first major mistake with him confirmed just how much I did love him... and didn't want to let him go.

"I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake."

Luis Miguel

I don't really remember much of that night. I only know I had felt pushed into it, like it was what he had wanted. In the end I know I hadn't done anything but that was only because the boy I loved walked in. I almost slept with his room mate, his friend. He was really upset or maybe it was more anger but I ended up going after him. He was laying on the couch. He wouldn't look at me and barely talked to me. The clearest words I remember from him that night was"You've chosen who you want."I walked out and got half way down the driveway before he grabbed me. The rest of the night was a blur. All I know is that night when we tried to sleep he held me but there was nothing, it was cold, lonely and numbing.
