Anderson wept as the casket was lowered into the ground. It had been three days since Gilra had found Amira laying in a pool of her own blood. She'd managed to gasp one word, "Amenra," before she died.
Amenra had been questioned, but they couldn't find any proof of anything, and they didn't even know for sure that she had been accusing him. She could have been naming him heir to the Krajinian throne in place of her.
But every morning when Anderson was praying for his twin sister's spirit, he also prayed that Amenra's would go to hell.
