Their faces glowed in the darkness of the room illuminating the satisfied faces of Jim and Angie. They looked at each other with their smug grins, but quickly looked away.
"So, the three stooges, huh?" Angie broke the silence.
"It appears to be as if they're getting their content on school grounds," he said now deep in thought awakening from his stupor.
She swung her head towards him and stared in disbelief creating yet another awkward pause.
"Well, if you look at the data, they are graveyarders as I call them. They work stealthily at night. Where can someone find this kind of- stuff - at that hour and still have enough time to contaminate these people?" he continued ignoring her lack of reply.
"Yes, I see that, but-"
"No buts. Look at the data."
She looked, but she saw nothing. Her mind was tactile- learning from doing. He was more visual. This was a piece of cake for him.
"I'm looking, but-"
"No buts! It's right there! They come out of their rooms late at night. A bag of that stuff is waiting for them under something, I haven't quite worked out the 'something' yet. Our guys leave the money and take the powder. They then move to the scene of the crime where they infect the students."
"Okay, I understand all that, but where is the scene of the crime? How are these three people able to expose so many? How are they doing this?" she said almost shrieking.
A light flickered and they both silenced themselves, refrained from making another sound. After a moment, they turned towards each other.
"Look, Angie. We now know the three people responsible. Wikipedia never lies. All we need to do is find out the scene of the crime and method of infection."
The door on the opposite side of the room creaked open slightly. Apparently, they weren't the only ones who wanted to solve this case. Angie and Jim look at each other before the door finally swung open revealing their intruder.
