He glanced back and saw her tears. He knew what he’d done. He had changed things forever. This time he had broken her and knew it, he knew this was the final time he could do this. The last time. Nothing would be the same again. He had gone too far.

She looked, through her tears, at the man she thought she knew. This time he was different, he’d said the same words he’d muttered every time - but now it was all real. Her heart was barely beating, she was numb, the cold air engulfed her as if it were a blanket protecting her from the night. Intense pain hit her. How could he do this? Why now after all this time. She watched as his shadow strode into the night, the fog closing behind him as if he had never been there. She knew this was the end.

I have several ideas of where to take this. It could possibly lead many ways so im intrigued as to what direction this could go. Help. Ok.. so the Violet chapter. This blast from her past.. possibly a brother/family member here to unlock dark secrets from the past. Or an old lover or husband with old issues to resolve. Remember to bring Steve back into this storyline. Love interest ??
