A View to a Kill

Recommend

Faithfulness is so easily revealed

Or denouced, with a kiss on lips not mine

I saw your tryst though the mist formed a veil

Over the rest of the garden and vines.

The view outside my window used to glow

With sunshine as dawn blotted out the night

Your blatant affair in the grounds below

Spoiled the vision that should have filled my sight.

You can't imagine the murderous rage

Upon seeing you with him, of all men.

Trust was never an issue at my age;

Distrust I now embrace as a godsend.

Friends you keep near, and enemies closer

Keep that in mind to prevent most murder.

Author guidance for This poem

Eloosive With the new movie coming out I thought this was an appropriate exercise:

Pick a James Bond movie title (a handy list can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond#Films)

Use it as the title and subject of your poem. Not the movie itself, just the title. The idea is to let the movie title take you places the movie never did.Movies done so far:

- The Spy Who Loved Me
- Moonraker
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- The World Is Not Enough
- Dr. No
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service
- Goldeneye
- Quantum Of Solace
- The Man With The Golden Gun
- You Only Live Twice
- For Your Eyes Only
- Die Another Day
- Diamonds Are Forever
- Octopussy
- Live And Let Die
- A View To A Kill
- The Living Daylights
- Goldfinger
- From Russia With Love
- Thunderball
- Licence To Kill
- Casino Royale

And that makes all of them... feel free to do alternative takes on any of them :)
