Diamonds Are Forever

Recommend

For every penny found, another diamond dropped,
A single spur of emotion, to let the world be rocked,
To find the breath in pantomime, motives are delayed,
For good for bad, for all that's mad, Diamonds are decayed.

For every spurt of blood, splashed across the sea,
For every little piece of me, forgetting to stop and breathe,
What once was found, now is lost,
Our society's dependence on having cost,
The small and subtle gesticulations we make,
Have led us all to be cheap, trite and fake.

For every penny found, another diamond made,
A single moment of frustration, to while the hours away,
Between God and man, we've found a hand to sever,
Money is our moment, and diamonds are forever.

Author guidance for This poem

Eloosive With the new movie coming out I thought this was an appropriate exercise:

Pick a James Bond movie title (a handy list can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond#Films)

Use it as the title and subject of your poem. Not the movie itself, just the title. The idea is to let the movie title take you places the movie never did.Movies done so far:

- The Spy Who Loved Me
- Moonraker
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- The World Is Not Enough
- Dr. No
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service
- Goldeneye
- Quantum Of Solace
- The Man With The Golden Gun
- You Only Live Twice
- For Your Eyes Only
- Die Another Day
- Diamonds Are Forever
- Octopussy
- Live And Let Die
- A View To A Kill
- The Living Daylights
- Goldfinger
- From Russia With Love
- Thunderball
- Licence To Kill
- Casino Royale

And that makes all of them... feel free to do alternative takes on any of them :)
