The Chef's Hat - Kitchen

"Hey, Chuck, ya might want to look at this." The head chef, Chuck O'latte Mousse, walked towards his friend, Aemon Roy. He drew his attention towards the spice rack, which had something there that didn't belong.

"Essence of Zephyrus? What's concentrated wind magic doing in my spice cabinet?!" Chuck barked.

Aemon shrugged. "I think one of your apprentices is taking up magic lessons and mixed up the spices with potion ingredients."

Elven Outpost

Dronel moved his hair out of his eyes. "Alright. I am Captain Dronel of the Elven Guard. I am the leader of the Elven warriors here at this outpost, and under my leadership, we have managed to keep the Stygian forces at bay, which leads me to my third question: Why were you fighting the Stygians? It's obvious you are not from around here, so I don't quite understand why you were out here to begin with."

Before Conrad could respond, however, a familiar face stepped into the tent. "Perhaps I may answer that question, good sir."

The man was none other than Hyperion Tempus, the Time Mage. Dronel looked at him suspiciously. "Who are you, how did you get in here, and what can I do to change that?"

Hyperion answered them in order. "I am Hyperion Tempus, the current Time Mage. I simply walked in here. I'll leave after I answer the question of the Stygians." Conrad's face turned a bit pale. Was he going to reveal Elarin to the Elves? How much did this Time Mage know?

Hyperion smiled. "He's from the future. A time-space anomoly brought him here and he was fighting the Stygians for survival reasons. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, literally. That would also explain his clothing, weapons and armor, as they are clearly not from this time period. Does that answer all of your questions?"

Dronel nodded. He wanted to ask another question, but his mind was too wrapped up in this time-space talk that he had no idea how to word it or even where to begin. He turned to Conrad. "Is this true?"

Conrad saw Hyperion wink at him, and nodded. "Yes, it is."

Dronel sighed. "Okay, now for my final question: would you mind helping us pushing these Stygians out of Ecwodar?"
