Ooh, that smarts.

You eyes adjusting to the light, you see that there is a tunnel leading off from the hole, one you couldn't see from aboveground.

You push yourself up on your arms, and try to have a better look down the tunnel.  Unfortunately, you can't see anything.

You can hear something, however.

You try to illuminate the tunnel using the light from your cellphone, but it's no use -- it's much too far and deep to see where it goes.  And the noise -- it's becoming more distinct.  It's voices.  Childrens' voices...

It's then that the hole closes up above you, and you're sealed in total darkness.
