Lie on the floor in silence until they go away
You curl up into a ball on the floor. It's quite nice, comforting, like being a bullied child again, just lying there ignoring the world, ignoring the screams and the shouts and the kicks and the spit.
The screaming doesn't stop though. It never stops. In fact it might be getting louder.
