They always say, you don't know what you've got until you've lost it, well I certainly knew about that. They called me Merae, The Lonely Shadow because I had the blackest hair anyone had ever seen and I was always destined to be a Prophecy Watcher so I would have no time for relationships - hence the lonely part. Mu Job ruined my life, to the point where I tried to kill myself, twice. I had voices in my head and everything and I changed my name so may times, I almost forgot who I was. But they always say, you don't know what you've got until you've lost it, and this is my story.

Merae D'lista - main character, Most powerful elemental in the universe has the powers of telepathy and prophecy also she can controll the elements... wait I already said that...

Clovin D'lista - Merae's more popular and better looking twin brother who turns out not to be as hard as Merae thought

Beth D'lista - Merae's magical dog who was bewitched as a puppy and can now talk, has the intelligence of a very clever person :) and has also the power of telepathy

Keir Leandro - A spy from the enemy tribe who Merae falls in love with and later runs off with when her village is destroyed by lightening. She then realizes he isn't so nice after all and after giving birth to a child runs off with it to the royal city where he finds her, kills the baby and gives her a gash all the way up her body, when the guards come he runs away and they both swear revenge on eachother.

Gineala - The Nature goddess who watches over Merae and helps her on her quest to fulfill her own prophecy.

Ariela - The Queen of the Forest Elves, also becomes a good friend and close ally of Merae's. Ariela harbours Merae when she runs away fom Keir.
