The fairy prince was probably the most amazing person in the entire world. And the reason for that was that he...was a she. The woman flew down in front of us, alighting as she bowed and kissed each of our hands. Apparently fairies can choose their sex, and the prince had recently decided he wanted to be a woman. So there we were, and Catarina was smitten. You could see it in her eyes, the moment she saw her she would never again be the same.

And my heart didn't exactly plummet for the right reasons. I didn't mind the loss of her love. More the fact that her affections were upon the person whom I had now attatched my emotions.
