You grab a torch from the wall and toss it onto the gunpowder. The result is not quite what you expected. Instead of just catching on fire, it blows a chunk out of the floor, ceiling and wall, singeing your eyebrows in the process.  Those pieces of the walls that did not desintegrate durring the explosion catch on fire almost imediately.
