Rule One: In general, things get better over time.

Rule Two: Whenever someone says "I promise", always add on: "as long as the circumstances suit what I want."

Rule Three: A woman has three reasons for everything she does: the reason she says she has, the reason she thinks she has, and the reason she really has

Rule Four: Happiness is not found in another person.  It is found within.

Rule Five: As long as you do what you love with all your strength and ability, you will be happy and complete.

Rule Six: A woman will do everything in her power to ensure she gets what she wants.

Rule Seven: Don't ever settle for less than what you deserve.*

*And if you somehow are forced to settle for less than what you deserve, plot to get what you deserve.

Some advice on life, in the form of "rules". When writing a chapter, try to keep the rules short and sweet; however, if it's just better as a paragraph, nobody will be complaining :D
