Getting it out there

I texted Kaydene to let her know what
my username was. We were reading each other’s writing and chatting about stuff
for ages. I was instantly entranced by the website.

From then on I became hell-bent on
getting my writing out there, showing people that I wasn’t afraid to show off
the little talent I possessed. Writing competitions, writing clubs, writing
lessons. I rarely won anything, occasionally winning a runners-up prize of a
book-shop voucher or something like that.

I was a little disappointed that I
wasn’t getting many comments on the writing website, even though Kaydene was
amazingly popular online. She loyally read and commented on everything I
uploaded, but nobody impartial seemed to pay me any attention. I was gradually
becoming more desperate to be noticed.

The End
