The Night is Dangerous.

Creative writing we did in GCSE English Lit, based on the first 24 seconds of The Sandman, revisited from year nine, I do believe. :')

The sky was black, and the crystal like rocks glittered innocently, as if they were shards of glass, coated with a frosting of silver. The sky was also dark. So dark, it was almost specked with purple and dark blue, and there was a glacial, icy feel to the land. It was eerie, but at the same time, somewhat dangerously beautiful. And so silent. The silence was deafening, as if it were ringing in your ears for eternity. Maybe that's what made it so frightening... It was completely and utterly isolated...
