Tears, Scratches and Punk SongsMature

I woke up with tears running down my face, left-over makeup from yesterday smeared across my face and scratch marks on my hands. That's another thing : I scratch myself in my sleep when i have a rough night.

I wiped away the tears with the back of my hand and proceeded to get ready for school. I grabbed everything i needed (which wasn't much as i had all new classes today) and then ran into the shower. After blowdrying and straightening my hair, I realised I had just enough time to put on my eyeliner before grabbing a cereal bar on the way out the door. I decided to do my eye makeup slightly heavyer today, with a heart at the side of my left eye and some black eyeshadow smeared around my eyes, rather than eyeliner.

I got to the bus stop with plenty of time to spare so i plugged in my I-pod and listened to one of my favourite songs. It's a song my band wanted to do, until...well...until i left really. The song was "Break" by Three Days Grace. It's got a great guitar riff and some amazing lyrics. I started singing along, only I didn't realise until one of the old ladies standing next to me tapped on my shoulder and uneasily told me to keep it down a bit.

When I got on the bus, I found a seat where no-one was sitting and put my back against the window and my feet on the seat next to me. Only then did I realise who i was sitting opposite to.

Robbie looked up from his magazine when he heard me sit down and looked at me with a blank stare. Two minutes later I plucked up some courage and said "Hey...".
He looked at me and said "You're not putting on your eyeliner today." He sounded almost disspointed.
I rolled my eyes and giggled nervously. "No i'm not. sorry".
"It's alright.."
And then ended our conversation. I'm really great at making friends as you can tell.

The bus pulled up at school and I got out, ready for another day at hell. At least Dad decided to stay working at my old school, I don't think I could handle him working here whilst i'm trying to settle in.

Anarchy In The Uk by The Sex Pistols started playing on my I-pod as i walked into class. Johnny Rotten really does have an original voice. I really like it... it catches my attention.

I got into trouble for listening to music in class. Great start to the day. However, my day brightened up considerably when Matt walked in the room. I grinned at him and he came and sat next to me. We chatted for the next ten mintues, until registration was over and we made our way to chemistry.

The End
