Heaven sent silence in return
(still she yearned)
How vulnerable she was
with her faith in the fallen
Hidden hope, denial
She heard no echo
her eyes aswim in shine
disarming like a killer’s smile
moments before the blow
In time darkness enveloped her
Solitary serenade
heart sunk in the soundless depths
There was no reply
Alone and out of reach
she begins her disintegration
Melody bleeds out
Sorrowful and eternal
drowning the memory
of love, now cold
her long suffering hope – the promise of rebirth –
erased, forgotten in darkness
Forevernights full of emptiness
