Home Again

After this we all trudged back to base, dirty, sweaty, exhausted and slightly slap-happy. We’d been run into the dust, quite literally in some cases, and had never had so much fun in our lives.

I nearly dropped down dead on the walk back to the bus from camp. Thank the gods for my company who all gave short piggy-backs to stop me collapsing.

Love you lads.

We practically fell asleep in the comfort of the bus seats when we drove back, and when it came to loo breaks were all heard to be crying “Yay! Actual toilet seats! At last!”

And my bed has never felt so good as when I collapsed into it that night.

Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of Army-style camping to make you adore civilisation.

Anyway, that's all for now. But we, the mischievous and adventurous cadets of Charlie Company will return soon with another set of dangerous (and hilarious) misadventures.

This is Cadet Robson, logging out.

The End
