The world began to spin again, colors swirling, grays melting into reds and blues and blacks, sending me capitulating back into my own madness, surrendering my senses to it. My senses, my only reserve, my safe haven. Gone. A fierce buzzing sounded in my mind, fading away only to crescendo into a loud humming. I dug my nails into my temples, reeling, trying to focus.
