To Live to Tell...Mature

Refusing to panic, Dizzy, the Dizzy in Sanctavor's shoes, cleared her head and meditated, thinking clearly about what she needed to accomplish before she left.  It wouldn't do to go back to the metro platform, no, she needed to be somewhere else, somewhere safe, she thought, calmer now.  Taking off Sanctavor's useless clothing, she folded everything she had been wearing sloppily, thinking about how he might fold them, and placed the items haphazardly in the bureau's empty drawers.  Thinking two steps ahead, she tossed the suit jacket casually on the foot of the bed. It was a feeble attempt to disguise the fact that Sanctavor, however briefly, had been 'inhabited' by the owner of the Muyrstone.  She started to sigh in frustration, and froze, listening. There had been a sound outside the hotel door, she was sure of it! Tiptoeing as fast as she could, Dizzy, naked as a jaybird, looked back at the folded clothes and slowly eased open the door to the balcony.

This was almost too much, she thought, blood pumping in terror.  A young man, wearing a dark suit and tie, eased the door shut behind him and looked around the room.  Holy crap, Dizzy thought, he has a gun.  After a moment, the man walked into and back out of the bathroom, probably searching for Sanctavor. Dizzy bit her lip, freezing, as the man holstered his gun, and picked up Sanctavor's jacket.  Still scared out of her mind, Dizzy felt another wave of anticipation make its presence known. Any second, now, she thought.
