Lollie was crying.
She had been there at Sophie's funeral, watching her new friend get buried, hidden out of sight.
She had been there at Sophie's house, watching her new friend find a new future.
She had listened to Sophie's plea, for Lily to leave Sophie's death alone for now. Soph had a reason to stay now and she was happy here. She had found love, despite her situation.
She had seen the smile on Finn's face as his girlfriend returned to him again. She knew that her friend was doing much more good there than she could ever do by her side.
So much for them spending eternity together. Lollie knew that she needed to find a new friend. Someone who was alone.
She was back at the fairground before she knew it. That was when she remembered the scream. That was when she remembered the death. That was when she remembered what she did best. So she went over to the confused soul with a friendly smile, ready for an embrace.
Instead, she got a slap.
