Mr. and Mrs. Jackson. Has a nice ring to it. Well, it was the end of the week. And now, Hally was going to Garrett. Kaya had returned from her mother's house and she moved into mine.
"You ready?" I asked Hally. Kaya, who was sitting in the back seat, patted my shoulder.
"I think so."
"Well," I said, "he lives right here. Good luck."
Hally walked out of the car door.
"I hope he isn't mad," Kaya said.
"He's won't be."
We saw Hally walk to the door and ring the doorbell. I saw Garrett's face when he opened the door. He grabbed Hally and hugged her. They both started to cry. Elizabeth, who was at her grandparent's house, probably was gonna be mad.
We drove off. I knew Hally wasn't going to leave for a while.
And I stopped at Mr. and Mrs. Evans's, Elizabeth was here, house.
