"I'm... sorry. So sorry."
We were still standing there, door open. My apartment was a mess. I still hadn't made my bed. I was ashamed.
"It's ok. I understand."
I lifted her chin and kissed her. Kissed her passionately. I loved her. I loved her so much. I could never forget this moment. She placed her gently hands on my hips. When she pulled back, I scooped up her slim figure and placed it on the couch.
"I love you. I always have. And I regretted leaving you. I just needed some time alone. I couldn't believe it," she said grazing her long fingers on my neck.
"I love you, too. I always will."
She kissed me. She kissed me on the cheek moving to my lips.
"Let's start over," she whispered.
I kissed her neck, her collarbone. She was just there gliding her long fingers through my hair. I wrapped my arms around her and she leaned on my shoulder.
"Can I stay?"
"Stay over? Sure."
I smiled. I imagined us starting a family. Me seeing her face every bright morning.
And we just stayed like that for the rest of the night.
