Author's WordMature

MATURE CONTENT WARNING: For: Mild Language, violent scenes My time on this website can be described in various ways. I often say that it hasn't exactly been as successful as I had hoped it to be. Others say I'm great and that my time here has been productive and a blast. One thing though is for certain: I have worked my ass off and created some amazing works I never thought could come from my hand.

My time on this website can be described in various ways. I often say that it hasn't exactly been as successful as I had hoped it to be. Others say I'm great and that my time here has been productive and a blast. One thing though is for certain: I have worked my ass off and created some amazing works I never thought could come from my hand.

Case and point: The Infection. A story started in early eighth grade, The Infection was the first full-out story I took to writing since my 2nd grade year. Somehow, it evolved into a fast-paced zombie thriller with the apocalyptic world replaced by average students trapped in their own high school.

In many ways, The Infection was a landmark in terms of my writing: it had a lot of dialogue, a really good pace that kept me writing and kept the readers reading, and probably the best character development I have ever pulled off. The quick dialogue, action, and overall tension of the story was, and excuse me if this sounds very selfish: amazing.

While it may not be the best thing I've ever written, it was certainly a key moment in my writing career. It showed me what I was capable of and in the end, a decent enough story emerged from it.

With all of this being said, I hadn't touched The Infection in more than six months. I thought it deserved at least a slight polishing, some sort of revisit. I was able to relive the story once more and help build it up just a little bit more and to upload it in a better style since the original was messed up.

Welcome to The Infection: Remastered Edition. Try not to catch the disease.
