Chapter One- The Forest

Some forests are so beautiful that they are considered one of the seven wonders of the world, but some are deadly like the one you are about to read about. It is so devastatingly disastrous that it has its own protectors. One is The Huntress; a woman of gifted speed, strength and agility; she is like the wind, invisible, soundless and quick, for you do not know she is there until you feel her blade across your throat. Like a ninja assassin, she leaps from tree to tree because in this forest anything is possible.

Then there is the Woodcutter; The Huntress’ spouse who is gifted in the art of wielding his magic axe which can cut through anything which challenges it because in this forest anything and everything is real. Naivety does not last long here, if you walk through this forest, do not believe that you are safe because you asked God to be with you, for God is not here in this forest, there is only the Devil they say. However, there is always hope, that flicker of light in any darkness.

So thank God that if you should need to walk through this forest, that he has sent two guardian angels to watch over you in the form of The Huntress and her spouse, for they are your only protection here. In this forest Reality and Imagination walk together hand in hand but don’t be fooled, what is to say that what you should face is really there? Entrapment is what you should face if you were to stray from the path. Goblins, Elves, Witches, Werewolves and Vampires all reside here but it is only the Vampires and Werewolves that challenge The Huntress and this of course is where Our story really begins…
