I decided not to go their, disappointing Ben and ensuring a night of "You ok"s and "Wanna talk about it"s and the all time favorite, "Come please! What happened?" s. I just set my face and stuck to the popular "NO!" s.
In the back were my clothes....plus Eddy and Aly. Aly giggled and glanced knowingly at Ben and back to me but, thankfully, said nothing about the topic she could obviously feel inside me.
I just huffed and she hopped down and skipped over to the wide rack of clothes to pick out a dress for the two of us. Eddy sauntered to me and gave me a bear hug, picking me up and swinging me around.
Eddy was a goofball and the true brawn of the group. He really made you feel totally secure no matter what he does to you.
It was one of those things that couldn't help but make you at least giggle. And when all of the negative stuff is being pulled from you at the same time, it really brightens your outlook on things.
Eddy set me down carefully back on the ground as if I were a fragile china doll and chuckled. "You need to relax little chicky," He told me and winked. Only then did I realize how wound up I'd been, and how grateful I was for having Eddy as a Guardian. "Ben, stop scaring her!" He added, and went to wrap his arms around Aly's waist and whisper something in her ear. Aly giggled.
Ben smiled and ducked his head at me. After a minute he walked up to me and we stood face to face. He did that hot looking up at you from under your eyelashes thing, making my heart rate excell.
"Did I scare you?" I scowled, but also shook my head and rolled my eyes. He smiled wider and looked me in the eye. "Sorry, didn't mean to make you scared," He took a deep breath. "I know you have alot going on right now haha," His eyes smoldered. "But we are going to do everything in our power to keep you safe, you know that...?"
I smiled and nodded back. The answering grin brightened my day and I felt almost like floating. But I had to come back to the ground soon unfortunately....
"Ariana!!!!!! I found us the most perfect dresses EVER! You have to try it on now!!!! And we don't have much time...." All I heard was blah, blah, blah, because Ben was watching me.... and smiling.
I smiled back. This was starting to be a very good day. Eddy snorted to himself and rolled his eyes. Ben sweeped his hair back and leaned up against the counter, waiting to see me in the dress. Always the gentlemen.
