Fun House

Mirrors threw shadows and gleamed in the bewitching moonlight creating a labyrinth of no return. The girl slowed to a stop at the corner of the sponge beds. Cartoon clowns laughed as the wind blew through the open mouths of transparent teeth. She ran over the pit of darkness, her heart thumping like a humming bird, to the other side. She knelt down and picked up her forgotten coat. Running through the clowns grasps and the hazardous fun house, she left.

Hearing the final purrs as machines began to hum into sleepiness. Leaving the fair, she walked away, before a new day began.
