Foreword

This is the story of a family. A normal, abnormal family in Britain who don't talk, who don't want to talk and who all know each other's secrets, yet each cling to the naive belief that they alone are safe from the world.

Dearest Reader,

Everyone should write a book, because everyone's life is deserving; everyone should write or paint or sing or dance and interpret and think and feel. This is the story of a family. A normal, abnormal family in Britain who don't talk, who don't want to talk and who all know each other's secrets, yet each cling to the naive belief that they alone are safe from the world. Love blinds people though, and this book maps the progress of this phenomenon; the most intelligent among us can be the most vulnerable and the easiest fooled; and inevitably, the most wounded. The most confident are the most fake, and the quietest are, emotionally, the loudest. Ultimately, the most oblivious are the least confused, and the easiest manipulated. I don't want the people in it to ever read their story- no one would- its cold and brutal and painfully honest, even to write, but its the absolute truth, and the ending is still being written.
Merry Christmas, New Family.
