 A new house. Great. Thought young Janet moodily. She looked up at the tall building, made of red bricks, and big, elegantly made windows. This house is scary!

 Pete ran in front of her, and leaned against the huge oak door. He looked intently at the knocker, which had a sculpture of a man screaming.

 "Cool!" Pete said, interested. He looked intently at the knocker. Peggy, their mum, was carrying all of the luggage, and Janet decided to help. She took everything of hers, because it was all she could carry. Mum walked up to the door, and unlocked it. It made a creaky sound that spooked Janet.
