Amy was so relieved. She thought that would be the end of it. If she hadn't got the job by the end of today, she was gonna have to find a different way out.

Back at the station, Jo was filing away the old reports of Turner's desk. He'd not turned up this morning and Jo wsn't really suprised. She'd left him in the Marrott, along with her stockings and a bad hangover. She smiled to herself, knowing he was probably still there, recovering.
"Jo. I need a private word. I know you were with DI Turner last night," she paused as Jo's face blanched "Sorry, but he's not home and he's not at the hotel. Do you know anywhere else he could be?
Jo looked like she was about to faint but stood sturdy. "No" she said quietly. Alan was missing.
