The first thing that Will could see was all the cats. There were hundreds of them inside the house, and each of them appeared ghostly white with big scared eyes staring right at him. Will tried his best to look away from the cats, but they seemed to b everywhere that he looked.
"I'm glad you're here," said a small voice from the corner of the room. Will looked over to a young girl who had a terrified expression on her face. But her voice sounded smooth and her eyes--which were almost as wide as the cats--almost seemed to be smiling at him.
Will nodded towards the girl and kept walking to the kitchen. Out of habit, he opened the fridge and peered inside, looking for something to eat. But then Will remembered. He closed his eyes, took in the wonderful smell of food, and shut the door. He couldn't eat anymore.
