The stupid cat was staring at him again. It's yellow eyes standing out against the blurry, fuzzy and surreal white background. It wagged it's tail in frustration as Smiley focused on it.
"What are you doing?" Smiley heard it ask, the voice distorted and unreal. Smiley tried to get up, but he couldn't move. He couldn't even tell if he was looking to his left or to his right. Up or down. The cat's head tilted as it pierced into Smiley's eyes and the ears moved back as the mouth opened, revealing the large teeth and a hissing sound. Smiley recoiled in fear as the white world distorted around him and as the cat stretched and drained away as wet paint would. There was sudden laughter and a voice saying dozens of different things at the same time. The same voice. It took him a while to remember it, as he had surpressed all memories from that part of his life but as he started to remember, he suddenly awoke.
