You decide to try and break down the door. You stretch out your arms, trying to make sense of your surroundings. You stumble across the room; you trip over something, hitting a wall hard- your skull breaking your fall. Your skull drums with pain, you check to see if it’s cracked but find nothing.
You begin to hyperventilate, the water is still filling up the room; it’s up to your waist, swirling around and slowly engulfing your body. You wish you could see. You don’t want to die like this.
You try to walk through the water, making your way around to room standing against the wall. Your arms feeling for any sign of the door.
After ten minutes of searching you finally come across a handle, you turn yourself around so your facing the door. You bang your fists against the hard surface, the echoes of your screams for help carrying down the hall on the other side. You don't give up, you keep hitting with all your strength, you will not go down without a fight.
"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" You scream at the top of your lungs, hoping someone somewhere in this godforsaken place will come to your rescue. "Help?" You mutter- after hours of screaming, your voice is almost inaudible. Fresh tears roll down your face.
Your arms ache, you're pretty sure atleast four bones are broken in your hands- you could no longer open your palms without crying out in pain.
Why am I here? What have I done to deserve this? Nobody deserves this. No one.
You slump back aginst the wall, thinking about all the things you wish you were doing, the places you wanted to be, the people you wanted to be with. Instead of being here. In this place. Alone.
You have two options, to either wait it out, or somehow try to get back into the vent you came in from.
