Diggy stumbled outside of the lounge. Tevin leaned Diggy against the pole.
"Stand up Diggy."
"I'm sorry Tev... I'm trying to get myself together. I should have just pretended to be drunk. But I couldn't help free drinks, courtesy of Ariel."
Kel drove up. He rolled down his window.
"Hey Tevin, you ready?!" said Kel.
Tevin looked at Diggy and said, "Can we bring Diggy, I don't feel comfortable leaving him like this."
Kel looked at Diggy up and down. Diggy was clearly intoxicated. Kel shook his head and responded, "Naw, are you coming?!"
Diggy looked at Kel and said, "What do you mean?! Naw?"
Kel said, "No, Diggy. I came to pick up Tevin and that's all."
Diggy slurred, "But I don't have a ride. And I don't know where I am."
Diggy tried to walk and he fell. Tevin ran over to him and helped him up.
Kel said, "Don't help him. He can handle himself. He took the drinks and he can handle the consequences."
Diggy looked up at Kel's car and said, "This isn't right! Why are you acting so mean to me? I didn't do."
Kel got out of his car and picked Diggy up.
Kel whispered in Diggy's ear, "You play too many games! This is me winning! And leaving you in your mess that you made."
Kel pushed Diggy against the wall and turned to Tevin:
"I'm leaving, are you coming?!"
Tevin looked at Diggy and he started to cry.
Diggy uttered, "It's not supposed to be like this. I don't understand?! I would help you and I have... I have no where else to go... Mikhael!?!"
Kel said as he got back into his car, "You have fraternity brothers... call them. Check mate."
Tevin said, "Kel. It's almost 2:30 in the morning, can you please get him."
Kel turned to Tevin and said, "This isn't about you."
Diggy laid against the brick. He wiped his tears. Tevin got into the car. Diggy watched Kel. He started to sway back and forth.
Tevin looked at Diggy, and said, "I'm going to get Malik's car and come get you."
Kel pushed down on his accelerator and said, "Goodnight Diggy," as he drove away.
