The creature slowly crept out of the utter darkness of the cave and into the softly moonlit forest. But there was something very different about him now. He was no longer the beast depicted in the stone statues inside the cave. For this moon was not like the others. This human's sacrifice had been much more important. Now the creature had a new form; One that would allow him to exist in this world, outside the cold emptiness of the sealed cave, long enough to do what must be done. He pulled back his hood, exposing his pale face and long dark hair to the still forest. Holding his hand in front of his face, he admired the strength and youth of his most loyal disciple. He shall return to me, each of us in his own form, when my work is finished.
