The Black Aybiss

A darkened wood was being slowly lit by the moonlight. A hooded figure came walking down the forest path crunching twigs under its bare feet, eventually the figure reached a cave, walked inside and knelt before an alter where there were various statues of a creature which had the head of an wolf, the body and wings of a eagle and the tail of a dragon. After sprinkling dust and some herbs on the alter and statue the figure stood up and walked past the alter and stood before the darkness "Come my god. Here is your sacrifice." Though his words were strong, he shook like a leaf , he heard the distant growling within the cave, saw a pair of red eyes gleam at him from the darkness, and he knew no more.
