Then it happened.

When I got home, I booted up my computer, and logged into facebook.

My heart skipped a beat.

I had a friend request from her.

All I could think was, maybe Holly was right.

Without hesitation, I accepted it, and before long, she sent me a message.

Just a simple 'Hey'

It was more than enough to get my nerves up. My body flowed with fear, and anticipation, of what was coming next.

It was a strange conversation. About her brother attempting to fit cashew nuts up his nose. By the end of the conversation, I had finally mustered up the courage to invite her to come out with me the next day.

The next day came, and I took her to Rockcliffe park, and we talked. A lot. By the end, I was so comfortable around her, that I think I acctually licked her face.

A couple of people even asked if we were dating. You have no idea how nice it was to hear people say that.

I hugged her as much as I could, without arousing too much suspicion, and that night, I asked her if she would go out with me, I mean, I'd already taken her out, but in this day and age, you need labels, not gestures.

She said yes.

That was the best day of my life.
