Helen woke up. Alone, as ever.
She decided to get a hair cut. She'd never liked her long hair, always keeping it long as long blonde hair was meant to make a girl feel gorgeous. Helen didn't feel gorgeous. 19 years old without any boy ever taking an interest. Maybe a new look would change things, make her more confident.
She didn't realise how much one hair cut would change her life.
