"Thank You"

Another piece inspired by an instrumental song by the same name as the piece, it is off a young couple coming together for their first date. She stood on the golden yellow beach, watching the sea wash slowly up the beach. She stood on the golden yellow beach, watching the sea wash slowly up the beach. It`s white surf sticking to the sand. On the horizon, the sun was just dipping from view. It`s golden rays reaching out from the horizon line, like hands grasping out for something. Behind her, the massive leaves of the palm trees swayed lightly in the breeze which blew off the sea. She closed her delicate eyes, glorying in the breeze flowing over her. A slow smile crept onto her face. If only he was here with her, she thought. Suddenly, she felt someone’s hand slowly touch her bare shoulder. Looking round, she gasped in amazement. It was him, the man she had wished only moments ago to be there with her. Jumping into his strong and caring embrace, she couldn`t believe it. He was here finally. After all that waiting, it was finally just her and him. Him and her. She looked up from nuzzling into his chest to look directly into his bright blue eyes which were quite a contrast to her own big brown eyes. She was about to speak to him, to ask how he had got to the island. However, just before the first word came out of her mouth, he slowly put his finger to her smooth think lips. Slowly moving his strong masculine hands down to the small of her back, the man started to lead the woman in dancing to a song which had started to play on the beach.

Not really caring where the music was coming from, she followed the man through the moves. They did this for hours, switching to different dance styles as fluid as a bird flying through close pickets of trees until finally the sun, now blood red, dipped behind the blue horizon. Finally stopping, she looked up at him “Thank you” she said with a sweet and innocent voice “For making this sunset extremely special”. Smiling at her as she finished her sentence, he shook his head “No, Thank You” he said with a kind and loving voice “For teaching me how it felt to love again”.

The End
