Surge

"A peircing screech hovers over the street, I run out of my bedroom and clamber down the stairs to find out that the old pensioner women from down the road, Mrs Chelley, has just been robbed. I run, frantically, down the road and call to mother, who calls 999, and suddenly something surges through me and I feel so powerful..."
A story about a girls secret life that affects others around her and changes the way she sees things in the world.

You see my life isn't so simple, every new day feels impossible to get through, as if its a chore. I look out of the window, its beautiful but not the kind of beautiful where the sun shines and the birds tweet while the trees sway in the air. Its my kind of beautiful, it's my, suburban backgarden, their my brother and sister, and they are happily playing around together while the sun hides behind the clouds and a deep fog hovers over the horizon.

I hold my book and let myself flop onto the matress. My book, well, its great, everyone thinks I am strange but I think it's cool. Its Anne Frank, and it's my book, its a book that makes me smile, and cry, and also gives me a nail biting experience...
